Machine history
The second class green and gray SNCF “UIC” and “USI” coaches arrived in October 2007 in Arques. The UIC compartment car, type B10, dates from 1965. The 1967 USI car, type B4t51/2, has compartments in the center and a central corridor on either side; it comes from the transformation, in the 1980s, of the initial type A4t4 of first class.
They are in perfect condition (were fit to travel at 160 km/h) and can accommodate 80 passengers for the UIC coach (10 compartments of 8 places) and 76 passengers for the USI coach (4 compartments of 8 places and 2 rooms of 22 squares). They can be towed by the locomotive BB 63852 or by the steam locomotive.
